Debbie Bliss a leading designer of children's knitwear. When THE GAP wanted to commission a new range of knitted garments and accessories for their baby range in 1999, they asked Debbie to do it!

All skill levels are catered for in their easy to read patterns and charts, and the regular features and articles provide plenty of reading material too.

Cashmerino DK is a collection of designs that introduces the double knitting weight to my popular cashmerino range. The yarn is a joy to work with, it has all the softness of cashmere but shows stitch detail beautifully. With this in mind the designs featured here are a celebration of the knitted stitch, ribs and cables, bobbles and fairisles, all my favourite classic stitches are here but worked in contemporary styles that flatter and fit.

Cashmerino Collection is a new collection in cashmerino, her beautiful classic yarn that is not only right for contemporary knits that drape or shape the body, but also perfect for children, soft and gentle against their skin.

Summer Essentials is a collection of knits to give you your perfect summer wardrobe. There are casual cotton cardigans for relaxed daywear, elegant silk tops for special evenings and simple shapes in simple stitches contrast with crisp cables and lace. The emphasis is on a simplicity of style with easy to wear designs that flatter your shape. I have chosen a palette from sunshine citrus brights and hot pink to sorbet raspberry and lemon for that real holiday feel.

Cathay is a beautiful cotton/silk/viscose mix, a double knitting yarn with a subtle sheen and fantastic drape that is pure pleasure to knit with and to wear.
The new collection uses this natural drape in fourteen designs that include a softly flared jacket, a simple wrapover and asymmetric tops. As the sheen also invests the yarn with a silky, luxurious feel there are knits that reflect cathay's special quality with a beaded sweater, ribbon trimmed cardigan and a lace edged wrap for a more dressed up look.

This new design collection celebrates a baby's first year with a pretty entrelac shawl, hooded tops to snuggle into, and a delicate matinee jacket.
